"That's where I'm gonna shoot my picture"

The Abandoned Construction Site

A Poem Composed for My Friend a Few Weeks Ago

'Twas the night before finals
And all through the school
Every student was wailing
Just longing for Yule

The notebooks were strewn
On the tables with sighs
In hopes that Saint Acing-Tests
Soon would draw nigh

The children had wrestled
Away from their beds
While factoids and essayists
Thumped in their heads

And Annie in her 'kerchief
And I in my cap
Had just settled our brains
For a long winter's nap

But from the syll'bus
There arose such a clatter
I dragged from my bed
Because my grades matter

Away to the library
I trudged like a snail
Tore open the bindersAnd resumed my wail

The Unstalkable Me

Because one must be exceedingly careful in these days of debauchery, I have decided to post only a masked picture of myself on the internet.

Let's Begin with a Complaint (as is my usual way)

Do I need a blog? No. Do I have time for a blog? No. I am already a member of Facebook and MySpace, not to mention being privy to other modern conveniences such as email, telephones, and even snail mail at times. Do I really need this to communicate with others? Ah-ha, you thought the answer was going to be no! But, in reality, the answer is yes, in some cases. For example, I wanted to communicate with my dear friend Ann a few insights that I had related to one of her blog posts. In order to write a comment, I had to have my own blog with blogspot.com. Of course, my advertising savvy told me that this is a marketing trick and that I shouldn't succumb. But the urge to post was so strong and the idea of having my own blog started to take shape in my mind...and thus, I am now a blogger.
