Bronte or Austen? That is the question...

Surprisingly enough, I am excited about an upcoming paper. For one thing, we have a long time to work on it, so if I start now, I should be able to turn out a fairly excellent product. For another, we get to choose which work (within limits, of course) we would like to focus on. I have decided either to read a Bronte (excepting Jane Eyre, most likely) or one of the lesser known Austens (like Mansfield Park or Persuasion) because I don't want to read something I have read before (or something that I've seen the movie of because then I already know the basic premise). You may ask why this topic is being posted on my blog. Of all things, why this? In response, I would tell you that it is another of the large questions in life. Not quite large enough to fit into the "five ultimate questions" but certainly large enough to beat "What's for dinner?"
